Chair Yoga is a gentle style of yoga that is done while sitting in a chair or using as support while standing. Chair yoga involves the same ideas as traditional yoga. There are the poses, the breath work, and the meditation. It is a great way to explore range of motion while focusing more movement and less on balancing. Chair yoga allows all the same benefits as “traditional” yoga such as increased flexibility, improved strength, reduces stress, promotes confidence, increases balance, encourages better breathing, promotes better sleep, and SO much more.Be sure to stick around a little after to ask Kristy any questions about your yoga practice while you enjoy the kitties.
