Join Jan as she guides you through an uplifting Barre Fitness class utilizing light weights, Bender (fitness balls,) a ballet barre (traditionally) or a chair and your own body weight to increase heart-rate, build long lean muscles and general well-being! Barre class is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates, that focuses on low-impact, high intensity movements designed to strengthen and tone your body.Each class is designed to be a full-body workout, broken into different sections that focus on major muscle groups including the arms, thighs, glutes, and core. Modifications are provided for more or less sensation, creating an inclusive class in which every body can feel accomplished and comfortable!
Designed for wide range of fitness levels, ages and bodies, complete with progressions so those new to fitness feel successful their first time and seasoned Barre enthusiasts will always feel challenged.
It is recommended to have light weights, Bender (fitness balls,) a ballet barre (traditionally) or a chair, and grab a refreshing beverage to hydrate during the class. Don’t forget to invite your pets to practice with you!
